Through the use of the microphone, internet and the skype application the iPad can become a phone. Communication can now become simpler and more accessible, even to those with no phone line. Conversely, through the book application the iPad becomes a book. The applications on the iPad are also interrelated. The application can connect to online stores which allows for the purchase of new books, applications and moves. Thus, the iPad revolutionize business in the way that it connects its user to products they may be interested in. The "middle-man" aspect of advertising is eliminated as the iPad automatically connects the user to what they need. The iPad also has the ability to change the way in which we learn. Through the book application all textbooks can be downloaded and read in one place. The iPad also has the potential for interactive learning software which would allow the user a hands on approach to learning. Entertainment has now also been conglomerated into one device. Before the iPad, games, movies and music had to be experienced on individual platforms. Now, through the iPad you can play games or watch a movie or listen to music.
